Our Annual Events
Since our inception, the Minnesota Chapter has donated over $2.5 million to more than 40 local youth related charities benefiting underprivileged children in our Minnesota community. Our Chapter has two annual fund raising events, our Gala Dinner and our Charity Golf Classic. We are an all-volunteer organization and all of the net funds that we raise are distributed to local children's charities under our National motto Caring For Kids.

OUR CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC

On Monday, June 24, 2013, the Minnesota Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association is sponsoring their
31th Annual NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic at Bearpath Country Club in Eden Prairie. The purpose of this
event is to raise money for local charities focused on socially and financially disadvantaged youth.
All participants in this year’s tournament will enjoy 18 holes of golf at one of the premier championship courses in the
Upper Midwest (Bearpath Country Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus), a first class player gift package, breakfast, food
and beverages on the course, open bar cocktail reception, awards dinner, and the opportunity to golf with an NFL
Alumni celebrity. There are great prizes for first, second and third place, hole contests and prizes, and the winning
fivesome (four players and a celebrity) will receive an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Super Bowl of Golf.
This team will represent the Minnesota Chapter and compete against teams representing each of the NFL Alumni
Chapters nationwide (past sites for the Super Bowl of Golf have included Torey Pines in San Diego, Doral Resort in
Miami, and Makena Prince Resort in Maui).
