Our Annual Events Since our inception, the Minnesota Chapter has donated over $2.5 million to more than 40 local youth related charities benefiting underprivileged children in our Minnesota community. Our Chapter has two annual fund raising events, our Gala Dinner and our Charity Golf Classic. We are an all-volunteer organization and all of the net funds that we raise are distributed to local children's charities under our National motto Caring For Kids. OUR CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC Monday, June 28, 2010 • Bearpath Country Club (club info) Our Charity Golf Classic is held at Bearpath Country Club - one of the premier championship courses in the Upper Midwest and a Jack Nicklaus creation. The tournament pairs celebrity and local golfers in their quest for the NFL Alumni Superbowl of Golf Participants enjoy 18 holes of golf, a first class player package, brunch, food and beverages on the course, an open bar cocktail reception, an awards dinner and the opportunity to golf with an NFL alumni celebrity. There are great prizes for first, second and third place. There will be hole contests & prizes, and the winning fivesome (4-players and a celebrity) will receive and all expense paid trip to compete against the winners of other NFL Alumni Chapters in the NFL Alumni National Superbowl of Golf.
